May outing

Gosh. I never realize how much I miss you guyz! I miss crapping to my bestie, Amanda, about everything everyday, I miss Lucinda's crazy and funny self, I miss Joanna's outspoken way regarding almost anything, I miss Jing Hua's awesome-but-mostly-impossible ideas on our 'huge vacation at the end of the year', I miss Chee Kin's humorous stories on his college life and people and I miss Eu Chern's sarcastic jokes and his ever-flowing critisms about that S******** woman. The only person missing here is Yeon Li. Heck, gal, where have you been burying yourself?

Anyway, today's outing was the best yet, right from the moment me and Lucy met up around 5pm with more than an hour to kill. At first I was just showing her the Seoul Garden buffet restaurant where we were supposed to eat and then, out of curiousity, the both of us wandered into One World hotel, where we spent the rest of the time exploring like lost tourists (if anyone should ask, we would have replied we were from Pinang or somewhere else remote so we didn't look stupid gaping at the crystal chandeliers) and taking photos, including absurd ones.

Now you don't

About 40 minutes later, Jo, Jing Hua, Sarah and Jyh Ling joined us but the latter 2 only stayed for a while coz they had a movie to catch. After they left, the 4 of us sat down and chatted till Lucy remembered the both of us were on a mission to find the swimming pool. So, off we wandered again and in the end we got there, thanks to the 'directory' in the lift that wrote 'Spa, Gym and Swimming Pool - 2'. But apparently, we appeared to be crashing a poolside BBQ and Bar party, though it was slightly drizzling. Haha. How embarassing.

What was with the both of them, I had no idea...

May the hostesses Joanna and Ying Hui present you the sumptous buffet dinner!

Amanda called around 7pm and we went to Italiennies to meet her and Eu Chern. After long indecisive moments, we had dinner at Jack's Place, where Lucy and I finally got to savour our grilled mutton with potato (it was grilled, not mashed as we dreamt it). Our table seemed to be the noisiest one, with an occasional burst of laughter. If our chatting was a piece (song), it would definately have tons of sfs (sudden loudness) and forte (loud) throughout. As for dessert, we went to Secret Recipe, where Amanda and Jing Hua got chocolate-coated piece of cake, Eu Chern got an oreo cake, Chee Kin and Lucy got hot chocolate, while I got myself iced chocolate with whipped cream. Jo was too full to stuff anymore food or drink.

La La-ish. Ok, this is the worst poise I've ever used. Don't worry, this is the first and last time you'll see Ying Hui doing this eye-soring, puke-making La La poise.

The Photo of the Month

I totally had an awesome time with you sexy people today! Till the next outing in June, I wish a humongous Good Luck to any of you who will be sitting for exams and to the rest, I hope that college will be exciting, or at least bearable, for you! Love you guyz soooooo much! XOXO

P.S. THANK YOU Amanda and Joanna for Jesse McCartney's Departure album! His version of 'Bleeding Love' is totally sizzling! And THANK YOU Lucy for the cute piggie and heart shape hair band! Love you lots!

Recap

I know my blog's been dead for a while, though I'm very much alive, seeing that my classes haven't commence yet. And since Shien Yin had updated hers after being pestered by me, I might as well update mine. So...

Monday: Officially checked in my hostel in the evening, around 4.40pm. Surprisingly, I found my room void of human life (my roommate was taking A Levels and that course started a week before orientation) and coated with dust, which was due to the repainting of the walls and replacing the carpets with tiles. Lucky me (about the tiles, I mean). My room had a long wall-to-wall desk by the window flanked by 2 black plastic chairs, 2 single beds on each side (mine's on the right against the wall painted baby pink), at the foot of my bed were 2 cabinets facing each other with an angle of 90ยบ between them and at the foot of the other bed were a wooden shoe rack and a greenish plastic rubbish bin. Good luck with picturing it.

Had dinner with Zhi Shan at a shop outside the campus that night since I hadn't had any friends yet. Then went to a bakery to buy a bread for breakfast before heading back to hostel where I spent the rest of the night finishing City of Ashes. And I did, which I regretted coz it made me depress and remorseful the whole night. To City of Ashes readers: Isn't it frustrating that both books should end on such a heart-stabbing key? First, Jace turned out to be Clary's brother. Then, Jace just wanted to love Clary as a sister. Gah!

Tuesday: First day of orientation and still feeling depressed. The whole day was technically briefing, briefing and more briefing. Went for lunch at McDonald's with another 'Freshy' like myself, though she's taking Food Science & Nutrition and is a year older than me. She took her A Levels at Taylor's before coming to UCSI. Walking all the way back to the campus was excruciatingly tiring but who cares coz, heck, it helped me to burn off some calories gained from lunch. After we were dismissed, Jee Ween and I sneaked in the library and hid there till it was time for her to go home.

Around 6.45pm, I joined a group of 12 (2nd year A Levels students and JPA Scholarship holders) for a Bak Kut Teh dinner. Actually, I got invited by 1 of them after my mom embarrassingly introduced me to some of them at the lobby (you know what an introvert I am). Anyway, by the end of the dinner, I still hadn't got half of their names coz apparently they called each other by ever-constantly-changing nicknames, though I know 1 of their Chinese name had the same pronunciation as mine so it was kind of awkward when I kept looking up everytime I heard my name. Went to bed rather early since I didn't have any book to occupy my time.

Wednesday: Second day of orientation. A little less briefings and tons of club presentings. After lunch, we split according to our Faculties and went to choose our subjects. I got a feeling the Faculty of Music had the least freshies. Anyway, I waited for ages before it was my turn to discuss my course with Prof. Juan. Lucky for me, my maximum amount of Credit Hours for this semester is 18 so other than Malaysian Studies, I didn't need to take other non-music electives. The online course selection only took me about 10 minutes then when I was done, my dad came to pick me and home I went!

Friday: 2nd attempt on driving exam. *Sucks in a deep breath* I passed! I passed I passed I passed! IFUCKINGPASSEDIT!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

Hopefully I can update a little earlier next week, maybe once I get my student ID and can legally log on to the internet using the library computers. Till then, tata~
