Was in a F.O.U.L. mood during imMoral studies. He may not know it but I spent the entire time, before and after presentation, struggling to avoid eye contact with him. I swear, I could have screeched at him if I did. Or at least stared at him with such wrath-filled intensity that there would be nothing but 2 burnt out sockets left by the end of class. And not just him. 2 or 3 more people as well.
I mean, I get it. You had band practices. You had stuff to do. You were not around the whole night. Everyone had plans. You think I didn't? You think I didn't have to practice for my recital? You think I didn't have a job as well, with my boss breathing down my neck all the time (fine, she didn't but I did have a tight deadline to meet)? You think I didn't crave to go out for a movie? You think I was so fucking free that I was begging for an imMoral ASSignment to fall onto my lap? You think I ENJOY scrutinizing at the computer screen for 10 fucking hours straight, desperately trying to finish up the whole bloody project all by myself just because certain people didn't even bother to send me their parts of the ASSignment until it was too late?
Well done, I must say. You MASTERFULLY and BRILLIANTLY ruined my entire weekend. Do you know how close I was to...nevermind. Forget it. This was probably my bad karma. I myself didn't help out much during the first term's Malaysian studies.
Tuesday (24/3):
Slipped into a relatively good mood. Partially due to the awesome lunch my grandparents took me to. Mostly because of Map of Bones. Nothing makes me more titillated than a novel. Music only eases my bad mood temporarily. Books simply erase it.
Wednesday (25/3):
Did a belated Q&A session for Monday's imMoral presentation. Guess who hogged the mic again?Half of me was elated of being under the spotlight. The other half urged to shove the mic to the rest of the group so that the lecturer would know the true brains behind the ASSignment from their incapability in answering the questions. I still wished I had done that.
Anger makes me spiteful.
Thursday (26/3):
Went grocery-shopping at Giant with Joanne and got stranded there when it started raining. We must have been such a funny sight, 2 girls lugging 2 plastic bag full of vegetables and wandering aimlessly around the more-or-less deserted mall. It was a while before Joanne got hold of her friend and pleaded for him to fetch us back. And he did.
My gratitude again, I-can't-remember-your-name. We would have arrived back at the hostel at least an hour later if you hadn't picked us up.
Friday (27/3):
Had my very first recital performance =) I guess I did OK. Loads of slipped notes.
Ended around 2pm. A whole throng of us went to McD for lunch, then to CC for a couple of rounds of Left 4 Dead.
I miss my college friends. Seriously, it seems as if my almost barenaked schedule stripped me of my social life as well. How sad is that that you don't see your college mates not because of clashed classes, but due to LACK of classes? Oh well. Can't wait till next semester! Teehee =)
P.S. Any posts with photos will be updated later. The connection here is too damned to allow me to upload them at a rate that won't make you pull your hair in frustration.
