Woohoo! I'm feeling so damn high now, even if my eyelids are heavy and threatening to slam shut at any moment. And I know very well I'll probably wake up to sore muscles and a bruised right butt cheek tomorrow morning but I don't give a shit (I'll deal with it when the pain hits) coz I've just spent 4 hours/240 minutes/14400 seconds ICE-SKATING! During which I taught Wen Dee to skate, savoured being on ice by gliding around on my own and also swished around the rink at a breakneck speed (for me, that is), raced Andrew in some form of tag, skated 6 then 5 lapses continuously with Andrew and Kevin and simply hung out and had fun with everyone else, on ice and on land.
It was a smooth-skating day, without the tuna-pack crowd of the weekends. Plus, not many skaters were clinging onto the railing, which helped when I needed to brake myself by crashing into it (I couldn't seem to stop when I was speeding). Too bad some random guy slammed into me, causing me to bruise my butt and ruining my record of not falling. And the guy wasn't even hot. Gah.
Poor Jia Wen, though. She kept slipping and falling every few minutes, which reminded me of what I've been through during the dark days of my skating lessons (probably much worst), and by the time we left the rink, her jeans were soaked icy wet, freezing her legs so much that she bought a pair of shorts to change into. Funny how everyone only thought of bringing extra shirt and not pants.
Anyway, here are some photos:

I reached the hostel about 10.30pm, dropped off by Kevin and his jeep, feeling wore out but, at the same time, hyped up. This is like, the best Thursday of 2008. So far.
P.S. Thank you soooo much Wen Dee, Rachel and Kevin for the lift! I owe you guys!
P.P.S. Argh! I've found a tiny blister on 1 of my left toe!
