The Ying Hui and Amanda Day

Ah yes. Today's the Ying Hui and Amanda Day again, a day of quality time for the 2 of us. It has been quite a while since we last did this, which was 31st of December 2007, though there's no fixed date to celebrate this occasion.

So, we spent the 1st day of March watching the rather-newly-released Step Up 2: The Streets, during which Amanda pointed out to me a cute guy, Moose, whose real name is Adam G. Sevani. The dancing was really engaging, though not so with the plot (I prefer the Step Up 1 plot). The sad part is, the hunk Channing Tatum only appeared like mere 10 minutes throughout the whole movie. Heck.

Oh, I forgot to mention that before the movie, we had a sugar lunch. Quite literally. We went to Big Apple and got ourselves 3 doughnuts each (cheaper than buying 4 doughnuts separately), then to Coffee Bean to treat ourselves to a Regular cup of ice-blended Belgian Chocolate coffee each. Trust me, it was a torture to eat 3 doughnuts consecutively. They were sickeningly sweet, I tell you. And they made me satiated even as I was finishing my 2nd one. The partially-sweet-partially-bitter coffee didn't help much in washing them down either. Ugh... Mental note to myself: NEVER EVER consume more than 2 doughnuts in one shot, could result in longing for salty food.

Anyway, after the movie, we went roaming about looking for a suitable salon to cut my hair but failed to find one coz it was either too expensive or haircut by a junior stylist. We ended up enquiring for a job at the Kidz Sport & Gym beside Popular. Thank God we didn't need to do a walk-in interview or something.

We continued on to Popular, where we looked at books and Amanda checked out the price for the DVD of Jay's 2007 concerts in Shang Hai and Taiwan. Then, we walked all the way to MPH (which was at the other end of the whole 1U empire), where there was some sales going on with 10% off for all books (members have 15% off) but we didn't get any, instead I got stickers worth RM2.50. Yay!

Well, the outing kind of ended when I had to go for my viola class, which was at Mirado, the same row as Popular (my legs so didn't need all that trudging). So yeah, that was all.
