She had never liked the darkness.
More out of fear than loathe.
But this, this was different.
It was like a thick fog shrouding her in an air-tight embrace, claustrophobic.
Yet at the same time it made her feel detached, as if earth was suddenly devoid of gravity.
Help! Her mind screamed in agony.
But she knew the burden was solely hers to carry.
For now, she could only grope in the dark while the very core of her yearned for the white light.
It could probably turned out to be the harsh glare of a torchlight for all she cared.
At least she could leave this trauma behind.

She chanted herself to sleep.
