Another episode of Sluts Gone Wild

Chapter 9: Sluts in the Mall

Spotted: YH, J, JH, L, EC and CK, the 6 self-proclaimed sexy sluts, creating havoc in their venue-of-the-month, Sunway Pyramid. A was no where to be seen. What would these maniacs stir-up this time? I smell chaos in the air. Mmm.

You know you love me.

Scandalous Girl

So, after sifting through countless choices on where to have lunch and singing a song of ‘Erm, Uhh, and I-Don’t-Know’, we finally settled with Canton Bay, a restaurant with ‘Chinese’ written all over. Say what?! I know. But Eu Chern was being craptistic, saying it was to remind ourselves that we were Chinese *Rolls eyes*

I felt a slight twinge of pity for the people dinning there, especially those with kids. We were one hell of a nuisance, exchanging gossip from high school friends/fiends to college mates, in an almost intolerable frenzy of people who hadn’t seen each other for DECADES. Though my sympathy for the poor souls only lasted for a split second, that is, till they started shooting these irked and pissed off glances at us, which we oh-so-mistakenly took them for encouraging us to raise our volume. We savour and feed on people’s annoyance.

Once satisfied with our damage done (the other customers would probably shoot themselves to get rid of our voices), we strode over to Starbucks to satiate our cravings for 5-star caffeine, all the way as noiselessly as a stampede of elephants. I was so proud of us.

Starbucks appeared as lifeless as usual, but thanks to us, passer-bys probably assumed we were holding some rock concert in there. The destruction was profound. Though, I swear, all we did was intoxicating ourselves with caffeine, bitched as vociferous as possible, laughed ear-splittingly and, of course, cam-whored like crazy. Pretty sane, right? I still don’t comprehend why those customers gave us that ‘fuck-off!’ look.

Our first group pic

Much to the relief of everyone around us, we left in search for more victims after a while, which was more or less two hours later. How kindhearted and congenial of us. We could have dawdled there all day. So, out we trotted to cam-whore, even if it was just for the sake of provoking the people sitting there. For a moment, I really thought we were at Genting or somewhere cooling

Our second group pic

As the first trickle of rain touched our skin (even the gods frown upon our self-absorbed ways), we ditched the place for good. *Cheers and applause erupted from all around* After tons of crapping while we roamed about aimlessly, we stumbled upon Santa and his secluded toy-making land in North Pole! (Too bad there were many kids around, or our photos would have been way corrupted)

Santa's giant, multi-coloured, sprinkle-coated Christmas-decorative ball (OK, that came out a bit wrong)

Christmas tree!
Not quite as naughty...unless, of course, you switch the places. HAHA.

We stopped by Guardian to get some bottled water to quench our thirst

Santa's reindeer and elf

During one of our rounds, guess who we bumped into? Yin Ying!

Anyway, we basically just circled the mall till we could, literally, break a leg. We even ventured into Asian Avenue, which Eu Chern and Chee Kin nicknamed Lala Land. We didn’t dare come in contact with anything sold there, just in case we got contaminated with the disease.

Round after round we went, never quite knowing, nor bothering, where we were heading towards. We just had one purpose to fulfill: Cam-whore!

All of a sudden, we found ourselves among a sea of red Christmas trees. (To Eu Chern: At which angle exactly that it looked Bollywood?) To me, the place was perfect for intense cam-whoring.

Yours truly

All too soon, it was time to go. It wasn’t until Chee Kin gave each of us a BIG hug, saying “This hug is gonna last till next year!” that I realize how much I miss this bunch of sexiest people alive. God, I wonder how am I going to trudge through the 4 weeks without them.

To my sexy sluts: I LOVE you guyz, Lucinda, Joanna, Jing Hua, Eu Chern, Chee Kin, and, not to mention, my best friend, Amanda, always have and always will!

P.S. Enjoy yourselves on your vacation: Eu Chern in Bali, Lucy in Cameron and Chee Kin in Melbourne! Don’t forget to blog about it! Love you lots!

"I'm so indie that I saw a band by myself in an underground room and afterwards I killed them so that I would be the only one who knew of their existence"

Cute.

Wen Dee's 18th Birthday Cocktail Bash

Whoa...this was the latest non-sleepover party I had ever attended in my still relatively short 18 years of life, though I went home around 1am while some of them got to stay on till, what, 4am? *Envy* Then again, the games they played after I left were absurd. Or at least the punishments were (I'll get to that later). Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise, me going home early.

Oh, before my memory lets it slip again...Happee Burfday, Wan Wen Dee! Welcome to the legal age of 18 (well, not exactly legal in everything yet)! And thank you so muchie for inviting me, you were a gracious and beautiful host =) LoLz.
Birthday Lady unwrapping her present

Anyway, I arrived at Wen Dee's around 9pm, more than a little late (the wondrous Chinese culture), after consulting the map thrice and taking 1 wrong turn thanks to the near pitch-blackness. Bi Ying, Rachel and Kevin were already sitting on the couch watching some Saturday Nite Live TV programme and munching on something that resembled a sushi. Oh yeah. They WERE sushi.
So, I joined them. Until I-don't-know-how-long-later, in came Stephan, Phyllis, Song Lin, Eunice, David and Andrew. (Reminder: I didn't keep track of Wen Dee's other friends) And there we lounged in the living room, while the host brought us various concoction of cocktails for us to try out, till midnight. Seriously. Of course, we DID cam-whore. It was the main by-product of a party. And crapped.
By the time the 2 sides were called to cut the birthday, a sliver of warmth was creeping through my veins and I was kind of bubbly, like a pre-giggle feeling, which wasn't in the tiniest bit good. The last time I let that feeling grew, I ended up puking in my godparents' house. In the confines of the toilet, thank God. So, I occupied myself as long as possible with the piece of cake, diverting my attention from that addictive Grenadine. I felt like some freshly intoxicated crackhead,
though I knew I was far from it.
But whatever. I'm no Wino worshipper.
Bi Ying, Rachel and Kevin were the first to leave and we didn't even have a group photo, as in just us music coursemates =( Sadnya. Oh well, at least we took tons separately.
Games started like around 12.30am, I think. I was only involved in 2. The first was like musical chairs, but passing a card with our mouths instead. Imagine the tens of thousands of millions of trillions of invisible-to-the-naked-eye microorganism depositing themselves onto that card from our mouths...happy happy microscopic creatures getting dumped onto the card like kids brought to a playground...and...oh alright. I quite enjoyed myself during that game, especially when I heard my favourite song 'Leavin''. I just didn't fancy the punishment. I SUCK at dancing. I could shoot myself for that.
The second game was passing a lemon from 1 person to another without using the hands, but any other part of the body. And I mean ANY other part. *I hear sniggering* The sequence, which I can't seem to recall, was made by everyone picking a card. Since I got a 3, I was way back in line. Not exactly a good thing coz by the time Stephan had to pass the lemon to me, they wouldn't allow me to use the crook of my arms to hold on to the fruit. Nor the front of my neck. Those parts were repeated way too many times. Gah. I used the left side of my neck. It worked. Hah.
And no hah. It didn't get past Andrew. Somehow he couldn't use his right side of the neck to clip the lemon from me. And it fell. Twice, to be honest. But the first time I shoved the lemon back up my neck before anyone saw it (Someone did though, but she waved it aside). Stupid squashed lemon. And because of it, we both had to dance as a punishment. Someone played 'Fall for you' by Secondhand Serenade -__-"
Dad came soon after, when we were taking a break and thinking about what game to play next. Too bad. I was beginning to feel warm again though. Had too much of that Chiva + Sprite. Argh. Better to be safe than sorry. I did NOT want to get sick in front of everyone.
Anyway, photo time!

Still sober

It's past 2 am and I just got back from Wen Dee's cocktail party in celebration of her 18th.

Had an awesome time.

Am feeling kind of warm now. Too many sips of alcohol.

I'd better go to bed before my body starts reacting in an unflattering way...

Happy Birthday, Wan Wen Dee! And yes, you were the prettiest girl last night!

P.S. Photos, please?
P.P.S. Meanwhile, to my sexy sluts: the outing's on the 22nd, next Saturday. Most probably in Sunway Pyramid. Don't ask me about plans. I'm all about spontaneity. By the way, Amanda suggested Seoul Garden in 1U, what say you?

Count down: 7 more days, babes!

Counting down...

Had planned to slither back to my room to catch a few winks (I'm sooo sleep deprived these days) before the accounts meeting, thanks to the loathsome and horrendous project due next Wednesday (Procrastination is our middle name), but got dragged to Wen Dee's group's Film & Arts meeting instead. Wen Dee needed me to help her in explaining some of the points in the assignment guideline, though in the end I just sat there and chatted with everyone/toyed around with Emmanuel's, aka Emma, iPod/daydream since she was fine with conducting the whole meeting without my aid.

The meeting ended way earlier than expected. In fact, it ended 2 hours in advance. To pass time, we decided to visit Ming, who had contracted measles, or so Kevin claimed. I had no inkling whatsoever what measles' symptons were. Anyway, the 7 of us squashed into Rachel's car, with Kevin behind the wheels, Andrew aka Andrea in the passenger's seat, and me, Eunice, Wen Dee, Rachel and Jia Wen jammed up in the backseat. The 5-minute ride to the Angkasa apartments was literally a pain-in-the-ass. I swear, if someone had opened one of the back doors, we would all have tumbled out of the car like dangerously stacked cards.

On the way there, Wen Dee kept trying to reach Ming but no one answered the phone. Dito with my attempt. He did call back, finally, but we were already crowded outside his door and busy shouting out his name. Apparently, he went back to Pahang and wouldn't be returning till next Wednesday. Riiiiight.

And so, we went to Eunice's apartment instead, where we each received an sms from Ming apologizing for not being around and saying that he would belanja us makan when he got back >.< LoL.

Lingered for a little while longer then headed back to college where Wen Dee, Jia Wen and I were dropped off to attend the accounts meeting while the rest went shopping at Sunway Pyramid. GAH. I LOATH that accounts project. Stupid stupid project. I wanted to shop sHOp SHOP!!! *Sigh* At least we did manage to complete 2/3 of it, despite Wen Dee kept spying for hawt guys shooting hoops in the gym opposite through the window. *Rolls eyes*

After the meeting, Jia Wen came to my room to take a nap but the both of us ended up munching on one and a half bag of peanuts on the bed while she waited for the rest to come back and me for my mom. She liked the garlic-flavour peanuts too =)

Mom came about 30 minutes after Jia Wen left. Home! And hello, weekend!

P.S. Take care and get well soon, Ming!
P.P.S. 8 more torturously long days to a wild paaaaartay, my sexy sluts! Till then, best of luck to those going through the ever-treacherous exams! Freedom is just around the corner, baby!

First week of November

Monday (3/11):
Overspent my daily budget by 4 bucks but what the heck. It's not like I go on impromptu outings everyday.

Anyway, tagged along with Jia Wen, Rachel, Kevin and Timothy for lunch and movie at MidValley after Composition class. Was kind of worried that they would resolved with catching The Coffin coz, trust me, I DO NOT go down well with horror movies. I can't even remember when was the last time I sat through one.

But lucky me. We watched Bangkok Dangerous instead =)

Was rather disappointed with it though. Nicolas Cage's movies were always either adrenaline-pumpingly fast-paced or his character wickedly smart or plain absorbing. This movie, however, was just so...laggy? I kept waiting for action, for bombs to detonate, for his character to make an unexpected move, for anything that would cause my eyes to bulge and mind to go, "Whoa", but it just didn't come. Oh well. And it didn't help the last action movie I watched was Eagle Eye. It was the best yet.

Went to Nose after the movie, where Jia Wen spent 20 minutes sashaying in a pair of black with green stripe heels before buying it. There was a pair of black and silver heels that I liked. Plus, it wasn't that high. 2 inches at the most? I didn't get it though. I was broke. Maybe next time, when I drag my mom there one day.

Got back just in time to cook dinner with Joanne (I brought marinated pork and stuffed it into the fridge. Shhh). Yes, she brought a rice cooker with a steamer on top. Save a lot on food, you know. Good investment.

Wednesday (5/11):
Dad called from Dallas in U.S. with news hot and fresh from the oven: Barack Obama won the election! Cheers! Here's a toast to America's first African-American President!

Since it was around noon when he called, that meant it was about 10pm on Tuesday at where he was. Cool =)

Thursday (6/11):
Happy 18th Birthday, Kevin 'Lah' Ong!

A bunch of us (10 of us in total) celebrated his birthday at Wen Dee's mom's restaurant, Nihon Kai. Took my ages to order since I wasn't familiar with Japanese food. Ended up ordering O-something-something-Don.

And then Andrew saw Wen Dee's fried chicken pieces. He LOVES fried chicken. So I shared with him and ordered an Ala Carte plate of it. Damn I was bloated.

After lunch, Wen Dee, Eunice, Phyllis, Andrew and Stephan headed to Sunway Pyramid to do some shopping. The rest of us had no idea where to go since some of them had to leave at 4pm, which was an hour and a half away. So, we went back to college and idled by the road to it, and stoned. For 15 minutes. Until Kevin came up with the idea of going to Tesco. It was near our college and it had free parking -__-"

And so we spent the remaining time circling the place, scrutinizing at things like we hadn't seen them before. We ended up buying a bar of Cadburry chocolate and Pringles (I think).

So, yeah.

P.S. Weeeee....Dad's coming home from U.S. tomorrow morning! And so is the set box of Twilight!
