I'm coming up so you better get this party started

Pretty purple flames :)

Li Ying said I look like I'm aiming the skewer murderously at Jo >:)

Get this party started on a Saturday night
Everyone's waiting for me to arrive
Sending out the message to all of my friends
We'll be looking flashy in my Mercedes Benz
I got lots of style with my gold diamond rings
I can go for miles if you know what I mean

Me, Jo, Yin Nang and Eu Chern

Pumpin' up the volume breakin' down to the beat
Cruisine through the west side I'll be checkin' the scene
Boulevard is freaking as I'm coming fast
I'll be burning rubber you'll be kissin' my ass
Pull up to the bumper get out of the car
License plate says Number One Superstar

Bonono and Jojo, don't they rhyme?

Dirty Little Secret - All American Rejects
I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret

"They try to make me go to rehab but I say NO NO NO!"

Bottle top?

Sweet dreams, Joanna, sweet dreams.

Ah, the look of innocence

Want some?

Who has to know?
When we live such fragile lives
It's the best way we survive
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you

Gimme gimme more

It's just you and me, baby, just you and me.

Intoxicate me!

mineMiNemiNEminEMiNEmIneMINE

Resolving to acts of violence

Tell me all that you've thrown away
Find out games you don't wanna play
You are the only one that needs to know

"I swear to drunk I'm not God!"

I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret

Good God

Gently prising out of Sze Ying's grip...

...and when she wasn't looking...

I suppose this has become part of our pool party tradition...forcefully dragging/flinging someone into the pool

Poor Shereen

Jump - Simple Plan
Jump!
Don't wanna think about tomorrow
I just don't care tonight
I just wanna jump
Don't wanna think about my sorrow
Let's go
Forget your problems
I just wanna jump

We're threading on water!

I'm a pro at this XD

This is eerie

The Great Escape - Boys Like Girls
Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
We won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway
Watch it burn
Let it die
Cause we are finally free tonight

Jo Yee declared it was 12.30am when we took these shots

The Midnight Rendezvous

Friendship is like peeing in your pants, everyone can see it but only you can feel the true warmth of it. Thank you, my sexies, for being the pee in my pants :)

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

M.O.S.
Known to us as Ministry Of Sound.
Known to parents as Mysterious Outing Spot.

The clock struck midnight by the time we entered the threshold of Euphoria.

Squirmed through the sardine-packed crowd (suspects: prom night attendees, if a couple of their floor-length gowns were of any indication) to hunt for a clear 4-person spot to dance.

Flung our hands in the air like demented windmills and subconsciously nodded our heads to the beats reverberating beneath the soles of our feet.

Danced with, then desperately attempted fleeing, horny guys who could be mistaken for construction workers beyond the confines of the club.

Had frizzy drinks with a tinge of bitterness that tasted more like cheap carbonated soda than intoxicating alcohol.

Cheered on while 2 blokes strutted to the curtain call of MJ's Billie Jean.

Stumbled out in a daze and steered by a sea of people after the club was declared close for the 'night'.

Went in half-blind (somewhere in Amanda's upstairs bathroom still lies my other contact lens, invisible to my naked eye), came out half-blind AND half-deaf.

Oh well. It's the experience that counts, non?

Ke-luh-bing!

How we managed to last for 3 hours in that oxygen-deprived/body-odour-clogged dance floor is currently way beyond me

Me and Lucy

Jo and Daa

Me and Daa

Posers

Pengsan pula...

Ever so attentive to the camera

High on God knows what

At this point, my body was screaming for a recharge. It was minutes before 3am.

The only successful group shot in the vicinity of the club

Perhaps seconds prior to dozing off right on the couch itself

Dragged myself out of the couch 2 hours later to wash myself up and wait for mom to pick my up. The 3 of them averred me mad.

P.S. Public Enemies was freaking awesome! Johnny Depp vs Christian Bale. Their presence glorified the film :)

><((((º> Fishie fishie <º))))><

Les poissons
Les poissons
How I love les poissons
Love to chop
And to serve little fish
First I cut off their heads
Then I pull out the bones
Ah mais oui
Ca c'est toujours delish
Les poissons
Les poissons
Hee hee hee
Hah hah hah
With the cleaver I hack them in two
I pull out what's inside
And I serve it up fried
God, I love little fishes
Don't you?

Here's something for tempting the palate
Prepared in the classic technique
First you pound the fish flat with a mallet
Then you slash through the skin
Give the belly a slice
Then you rub some salt in
'Cause that makes it taste nice

Sacre bleu
What is this?
How on earth could I miss
Such a sweet little succulent crab?
Quel dommage
What a loss
Here we go in the sauce
Now some flour, I think
Just a dab
Now I stuff you with bread
It don't hurt 'cause you're dead
And you're certainly lucky you are
'Cause it's gonna be hot
In my big silver pot
Toodle loo mon poisson
Au revoir!

If only my French teacher covered this song along with all those French nursery rhymes... WHY DIDN'T SHE?! Not that there's much French words in it...

THE. SONG. IS. SO. DAMN. CUTE.

P.S. HELP. Disney songs have vexed me!
P.P.S.
Les poisson: Fishes
Mais oui: Of course
Sacre bleu (written in French as Sacrebleu): A cry of surprise/anger. In other words, Oh my God.
Quel dommage: What a pity/shame
Au revoir: Goodbye. Adios.

Books Enhancement

Caught you there, didn't I?

Mom finally saw through the fog and apprehend the impetus for my struggle. She finally came to terms with the reality that I had long assented. Upon this cognizance, she uttered the six tinkling magical words, "You have to read more books."

Despite the sting of acknowledgement of my faltering English, my inward sly smile could not have been broader >:) Ah, the luscious sensation of tasting the words on the tip of my tongue again (not that I haven't been secretly reading all this while). There was one thing though...

"You should try and read a wider variety of books. Not just those fairy magic books you keep reading. Go read some classics. Good for improving your English."

Ugh. How distasteful. Twice I attempted Pride & Prejudice, both times I couldn't surpass the 5th chapter. Excerpts of classics were fine, like those we were acquiesced to read for the English class my mom sent me to during high school (LoL. I remember how my teacher used to stress she was not giving us English tuition, which follows shallow school crap, but English class using American syllabus. I find it kind of weird though, writing our essays/speeches/dramas in British English but studying Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream and the likes in American English. Pretty confusing sometimes, if you ask me).

I guess I don't have much choice, do I? Plus, she might not fund any of my new novels save classics *gasp* Nah. But still. So, erm, suggestions? I know classics-enthusiast Eu-know-who has a lot to contribute.

More than words

"How's your ear?" Monk asked.
Grey shook his head, angry.
Monk came forward anyway. He reached, not particularly gently, and inspected the damage on his ear. "Just a skin lac Hold still." He dabbed the wound, then sprayed it from a tiny bottle.
It stung like a son of a bitch.
"Liquid bandage," Monk explained. "It dries in seconds. Even faster if I blow on it. But I don't want to get you too excited."
**********************************************************
Rolling across the floor, she reached Vigor. The monsignor crouched near the top of the fire pit tunnel. She handed him her gun. "Down," she ordered. "Shoot anybody that comes into view."
"What about you?"
"No, don't shoot me."
"I mean where are you going?"
"Hunting."

Map of Bones, James Rollins

Witticism. What I love best in a book :)
