Work it out

Remember the oblong teddy bear I've brought to my hostel, for which I've asked you people to suggest a name? You see, it (there's no form of indication as which gender it might be) hasn't been moving about much since it started living in my hostel and has accumulated some fats over the months so I've decided to force it to work out, including 1 or 2 yoga poses.

Push-ups

Stretching

On the other side

The dog pose from yoga

It was supposed to do a head stand but the legs just wouldn't stay up

And some random photos of it...

It looks like a miniature teddy bear holding a name card

I've found out the actual size of it is...

10.5cm!

Why so serious?

Thanks to my sis, who is irrevocably in love with Christian Bale, I was dragged to the cinemas to watch the much-awaited 'The Dark Knight', which is proclaimed to be the movie of the year. Yeah right...as if 'Twilight' isn't going to be a MAMMOTH hit (12th December: the rise of Twilight, the fall of Harry Potter).

But whatever. 'The Dark Knight' turned out to be way better than I ever thought possible, despite the warnings that it would be gruesome and stomach-churning. Alright, I'll admit, Christian Bale was hawt and sexy (at least in the movie and not now, having shaved his hair and grew facial hair), except when he donned his Batman suit and used that low, electronically-altered voice of his. And the fact that his character was filthy rich made him (like he's not going to be once the movie hit the top spot) even more appealing. But I love the Joker character too, so insane, yet ingenious. And he could be so violent and humorous at the same time. Hands down to the late Heath Ledger.

Anyway, before we entered the cinema, my sis and I cam-whored a bit with the effing High School Musical 3 life-size poster.

The original puke-making poster

My sis. She fitted in just nicely and so does her hairstyle.

Me doing a Vanexxa Hudgens after failing to do a Sharpay coz I simply wasn't tall enough. Oh, the agony!

Well, that was practically the only highlight of the day. The movie, I mean, not the bloody embarrassing photos. The Olympics opening ceremony was impressive though. Spent the whole night watching it (save the marching part) instead of finishing 'The Novice', which is the 2nd book of 'The Magician's Guild's' trilogy. I've got to complete it fast or by the time I started reading 'Breaking Dawn', my sis won't be able to resist it and blurt everything out, like she did with this very series I'm reading. Speaking of which, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT EVER MENTION ANY DETAIL, NOT MATTER HOW SMALL OR IRRELEVANT IT MAY SEEM, FROM BREAKING DAWN IN MY BLOG, WHICH INCLUDES BOTH COMMENT AND CHATBOX SECTIONS. PLEASE, I'M BEGGING YOU, AMANDA, DENISE OR WHOEVER WHO IS READING THE SAID BOOK. Your cooperation is highly, extremely, eminently appreciated. Thank you.

And now, for some spoofs I've accidentally unearthed at youtube.

Bon Voyage, choir!

Today was our choir performance and also our last choir class for the semester! Cheers! Honestly, choir would be much more enjoyable if everyone actually CHOSE to be in it and not forced into it. I'll admit, I've looked forward to the choir practices almost everytime (save during exam period) but I would always end up disappointed when I saw people's reaction towards the songs given. All everyone did is complained and fussed and never tried to appreciate choir as something different from the music we listen to. Haihz...I miss the good old days of CHS Choir, 1 of the 2 reasons I miss high school (the other being my social life).

Anyway, the performance was just a short one (a mere 45 minutes), probably for the sake of making full use of the songs we've learnt, with us Big Choir alternating with the Chamber Choir every 2 songs. It started off with us singing 2 English songs, followed by Chamber Choir, then us again with 2 Italian songs, after that the Chamber Choir for the last time, then us closing the concert with 2 Malay songs. So, it was like,

Big Choir
1. Beautiful Dreamer (the opening of the song was written poorly)
2. Gonna Build A Mountain (it still sounded like a children's song to me)
Chamber Choir
Sorry, I don't know the titles
Big Choir
3. Laudate Dominum
4. Laudate Pueri (or was it Peuri?)
Chamber Choir
??
Big Choir
5. Di Tanjung Katong (serene sounding melody but non-sensical lyrics)
6. Glimpse of Malaysia (LOVE the 'Geylang Si Paku Geylang' arrangement)

The annoying thing was, each of us was required to bring a friend to the performance and to prove that you'd brought a friend, he/she had to register under your name. What the heck?! Sadly, my whole family didn't want to come (mom claimed it would be too jammed up thanks to the Malaysia's freaking longest pasar malam and she wanted to attend her yoga class) and my room mate went out with her sister (not that I blame her) so out of the 3 attendances taken, 1 of them had to have a pitiful 0 marked =( Oh well.

Here's a short clip taken of our last Malay song. I don't know why it suddenly stopped near the end of the 3rd song, which was my favourite song of all! Crap.

And some photos...In the Auditorium during row call. The Recital Hall where we performed looks exactly the same except that the seats are red in colour.

Bi Ying, Hui Yin (our lecturers used to get our names mixed up), Jin Fem and me. Thank goodness Joyce (between Bi Ying and Hui Yin) didn't bother to join us for this photo, I would have died of agony.

Group photo! Too bad Joyce had plonk herself down beside me when we clearly wished she didn't join us. See that disturbing black splotch there? Yerp, that was her. If only I had only thought of a way of making her bent down when the photo was taken, like make her hair clip fall...

Now I'm freaking exhausted and drowsy but I can't possibly sleep unless I intend to fail Malaysian Studies and waste another bloody RM180 to retake the subject in the next semester. Gah. Ms ******'s (her name is being protected for her security sake) tips better be accurate or I'll...I'll...heck knows what I'll be able to do..

Sluts Gone Wild Slumber Paaartay!

Really sorry my sexy sluts, but I can't possibly blog in full detail of our crazy 2 day/1 night booze-filled (well, not that much) slumber party at Chee Kin's coz Malaysian Studies exam (screw it) is on freaking Thursday and I still have tons to stuff into my brains (Procrastination and I are best of friends). I promise I'll write it out in details, including the gory ones, when my finals are over. Blogging about our SLUT outings definitely worth my time. However, I've uploaded the photos.

Want a piece of me?

Yeah, screw you too, Yeon!

At T.G.I.F. Seriously, if the people around us had it their way, we would have been kicked out due to our obscene conversations...

My first August post. And the start of the blog-race.

Woke up to a good mood today, as I always do on Fridays (time to go home!), even if I slept at 2am last night and had to crawl out of bed early this morning only to attend a 60-minute Aural class. But whatever, I could take a nap after class before my mom comes to pick me up. Anyway, I was feeling a little more euphoric than other Fridays this morning (the Sluts Gone Wild Slumber Party at Chee Kin's is tomorrow!!!), so about 1pm, I strode out of my college, dropped by Secret Recipe and got a slice of cake for me, my sis and my bro each. What a pleasant by-product of my euphoric-ness, don't you think? Thank you, your compliments on my generosity are much appreciated.

Blueberry Cheese Cake for my bro

Durian Durian for my sis

And...Chocolate Indulgence for me!

Did you drool after seeing the photos? Did you, huh? Did you? HAHA. Everyone so wish they have a sister like me (I can see some rotten tomatoes heading my way)...

Whatever. Moving on, mom took me and my sis for lunch at some organic shop in 1U, where we were allowed to order vegetarian food only (today being 初一 I suppose, or is it 初十五?). Then, being cursed with a huge appetite (though I highly suspect my insane fruit-for-dinner diet and gym workouts everyday have something to do with my bottomless stomach during the weekends), we went to Waffle's World to continue our lunch. Read: Waffles=sugar and fat. Well, there goes my gym effort.

After that, my sis and I wandered around while my mom joined Pn Wong and Pn Tammy for grocery shopping. And we did a bit of shopping ourselves. My sis got herself the newest Miley Cyrus album 'Breakout', which Michael Buckley, from the YouTube gossip series 'What the Buck?', assumed is about Miley's pimple breakout. I won't say I like her, but she's much preferable compared to Selena Gomez and that Demi slut (keep your filthy hands off Joe, you retard!) from Camp Rock.

As for me, I didn't exactly buy anything but my sis, sharing with my bro, bought a star-shaped-shell-like necklace for me as my very belated birthday present, which had a 50% discount (she's still feeling high about me buying her the whole Magician's Guild series). Awww...she even promised to get me One Republic's album coz the necklace was not even a quarter of the price of the 3 books I got her. Love you lots, Ying!

Feeling satisfied with our shopping, we went to nichii and cam-whored (I can't believe I fell in love with a dress within 15 minutes, though I resisted myself from buying it) until my mom called. *Smiles contentedly* I miss my sis (and bro of course). It's only with her, I'm never ever quiet.

P.S. Only 24 hours till seeing you sexy sluts again! Advice: Sleep all day tomorrow to conserve energy for the night! OMG! I think I'm beginning to hyperventilate! Heehee!
